    How it works

    How to sell Solana

Selling Solana with Anytime Capital takes only a few minutes:

    1. Enter the amount of Solana you want to sell.
    2. Choose how you want to be paid — bank transfer, debit card, or one of the other payout methods.
    3. If your SOL is staked, deactivate the stake account first — it becomes withdrawable at the next epoch boundary, typically two to three days away.
    4. Send your SOL to the address shown, then complete verification if you have not already.
    5. Receive your money.

Staked SOL takes an epoch to come back

Delegating SOL to a validator is not a lockup in the sense of a fixed term, but it is not instant either. Deactivating a stake account takes effect at the end of the current epoch, and a Solana epoch runs roughly two to three days depending on how fast blocks are being produced. Until then the SOL is not transferable. Start the deactivation as soon as you know you want to sell, rather than after you have taken a quote — the price you were quoted will not still be there in three days.

Keep a little SOL, or your other tokens are stuck

Solana charges rent: an account has to hold a small minimum balance to stay open, and every transaction costs a base fee in SOL. If you empty the wallet completely, any SPL token still sitting in it — USDC, a staking receipt, anything — cannot be moved, because there is no SOL to pay the fee that would move it. A fraction of a SOL is enough. Leave it behind if the wallet holds anything else you care about.

Why Solana transfers are cheap and what the trade-off is

Solana processes transactions in parallel and finalises them in well under a minute, with a base fee of 0.000005 SOL — a fraction of a cent at any realistic price. That is why so much stablecoin payment volume has moved there. The trade-off is that the network has had outages, most of them during periods of extreme demand, and running a validator requires serious hardware, which concentrates block production more than on some chains. For a seller this mostly matters as a timing question: transfers are near-instant when the network is healthy.

Priority fees, and when they are worth paying

Alongside the base fee, Solana lets you attach a priority fee to get a transaction included sooner when the network is busy. Most wallets set this automatically and it typically keeps the total under a few cents. If a transfer is sitting unconfirmed during a busy period, the usual cause is a priority fee set too low rather than a problem with the address — and the usual fix is to retry with the wallet's higher fee setting.

How long does it take to send SOL to us?

Solana settles on Solana, where a transfer typically confirms in under 1 minute. Solana produces blocks roughly every 400 milliseconds and reaches finality in seconds. In practice, SOL and SPL-token transfers (USDC, USDT) are confirmed and spendable in well under a minute — the transfer itself is near-instant, and any wait is the receiving platform's own crediting delay. We start your payout once the transfer has confirmed on-chain, so this is the part of a sale you are usually waiting on.

What does it cost to send SOL?

That is a Solana network fee, paid to the network rather than to us: A base fee of 0.000005 SOL — a fraction of a cent — plus an optional priority fee that keeps typical transfers around $0.001–$0.05 in 2025–2026. See /fees-and-limits for what Anytime Capital charges.

What do SOL addresses look like?

Standard address: 32–44 base58 characters (no 0x, no fixed prefix). Token accounts are derived automatically — you share one address for SOL and SPL tokens Check the first and last characters against the address on the payout screen before you send — a Solana transfer cannot be reversed once it is confirmed.
